WHAT WE DO

ImpactIP is a specialist advisory that applies social impact principles to large scale investments.

Our vision is to create step-change in Indigenous economic outcomes across Australia by delivering large scale assets that are owned and operated by Aboriginal communities.  We achieve this by applying our social investment model involving co-investment with Aboriginal stakeholders and institutional investors.  We offer:

  • Attractively priced infrastructure finance for Asset Owners

  • Social contract delivery with Indigenous communities, and land access agreements

  • Profitable and managed investment outcomes for Traditional Owner (TO) Groups

  • Long term and stable dividend stream to investors : Both TO investors and Institutional investors

HOW WE WORK

ImpactIP delivers a unique approach that transforms infrastructure investment proposals into an transaction that delivers financial and operational benefits, achieves market returns for investors and provides a range of positive social outcomes.

These social outcomes operate on multiple levels with Indigenous stakeholders and communities to drive Aboriginal Economic Development. For Infrastructure projects, ImpactIP typically manages:

  • Financing to acquire infrastructure assets, through investment consortium consisting of Institutional Investors and an Indigenous Unit Trust

  • Negotiations for any formal ‘lease-back’ or off-take arrangements with the original asset owner, utility or government agency

  • The setup of an operating company to operate and maintain the asset

ImpactIP is at various stages of due diligence on $1b in infrastructure assets.
